Located just 40 miles north of San Francisco, the Giacomini Ranch has been in the same family for four generations. Dedicated to sustainable agriculture and maintaining their family land (the fields are certified organic!), the Giacominis have raised Holstein cows since the turn of the 20th century. When their dairy herd became too big to be sustainably managed on their property, they decided to reevaluate and open a Creamery in 2000. Woman-owned, Point Reyes Creamery produces Italian-inspired cheeses that are truly unique to the Bay Area.
