Shooting Star Creamery
Shooting Star Creamery is the brainchild of Avery Jones, the teenage daughter of Central Coast Creamery founder Reggie Jones. It began when she was a teenager, Avery, who had been making cheese since she was a young girl, started making her own cheeses as a way to save up for her college tuition. All milk used for Shooting Star cheeses is sourced from nearby Etchebehere Sheep Dairy, and the facilities at Central Coast Creamery are used for production. Avery is definitely no average teenager - the recipes, marketing and business strategy are all of her own design and won 3rd Place overall at the competitive American Cheese Society Judging in 2019!
