Named for the famed historic brick street in front of Zingerman’s Delicatessen in downtown Ann Arbor, this multi award-winning goat’s milk cheese is one of the Creamery’s most popular. Taking a fresh goat’s milk cheese, they mix in fresh-cracked green peppercorn and a sprinkling of black pepper, then allow it to develop a fluffy, bloomy rind over a period of about a month. The result is a bright, tangy and zippy cheese with a distinct lemon flavor. As the cheese ages, the pepper and funky notes of the goat’s milk become more pronounced. Enjoy with a sancerre.
